We’re proud to have over 14 clinics in operation throughout the Northern Rivers. From Grafton up to Pottsville and out to Kyogle, chances are we have a clinic close to you!
Mitch has been with Rightfoot Podiatry since 2016, working mostly in our Ocean Shores and Ballina clinics. Before joining the Rightfoot team Mitch spent 5 years working in Brisbane, where he began his podiatric career after graduating from Queensland University of Technology in 2011 with a Bachelor of Health Science (majoring in Podiatry). Mitch enjoys all aspects of podiatry, in particular acute ligament and musculo-skeletal injury.
Jo joined Rightfoot in 2016 after completing her Bachelor of Health Science with a Masters in Podiatric Medicine at the University of Western Sydney. As well as working for Rightfoot, usually between our Alstonville and Casino clinics, Jo is currently studying to become a qualified pedorthotist (medical grade custom footwear maker).
Justin joined Rightfoot in 2014 after completing his Bachelor of Podiatry degree at the University of Newcastle in 2013. Since then Justin has gone on to obtain his endorsement for scheduled medicines as well as completing his Masters of Podiatry through Queen Margaret University earlier this year. Not content with “just” working in the clinic, Justin is also busy tutoring and supervising podiatry students at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane.
Shannon is a recent graduate from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) where she obtained a Bachelor of Podiatry degree in 2018. Since starting with us in February 2019, she’s quickly adapted to living and working on the beautiful Northern Rivers and she can usually be found in our Casino and Ballina clinics.
Dave Shaw is a founding Director of Rightfoot Podiatry. Dave is an active member of the North Coast Clinical Council and the North Coast Primary Health Network. He is also the Clinical Reference Lead for the Podiatry sector on the Australian Digital Health Agency. David has a Bachelor of Health Science (Podiatry) (2001) from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and a Bachelor of Science (Human Movement/ExPhys) from UQ (1998).
Dr Leah Cook is a founding Director of Rightfoot Podiatry. As well as being one of our most experienced podiatrists, Leah is also a qualified Podiatric Surgeon with the Australian College of Podiatric Surgeons. Leah has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Podiatry) (1995) and a Masters of Health Science (Podiatry) (2008) from the University of South Australia.
India is a recent graduate from the Queensland University of Technology, where she left with a Bachelor of Podiatry in 2018. Since commencing with us in February 2019, she’s quickly found her feet (no pun intended) and can usually be found in our northern clinics, including Murwillumbah, Pottsville and Ocean Shores.
Jouliet graduated in New Zealand at the Auckland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Health Science in Podiatry in 2013. Her first 2 years was in regional New Zealand then coming back to Australia in 2016 to the lovely climate of the Northern Rivers to work at Rightfoot Podiatry . Jouliet is a Kuwsie (NZder and Australian) she works out of Alstonville and Ballina clinics
Adam Joined Rightfoot Podiatry in 2013 after 19 years of podiatry in Singapore. He has completed a Bachelor of Pedorthics (Medical Grade Custom Footwear Maker) to compliment his Podiatry so as to manage complex foot problems such as significant deformities and High Risk feet. Adam is a Rightfoot Director and works out of our Casino and Ballina clinics
Dave started at Rightfoot Podiatry in 2005 after graduating from Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Applied Science Podiatry. Dave enjoys all aspects of podiatry including musculoskeletal injuries, ingrown toenail surgery, high risk feet and is a certified prescriber of Cobra 9 cycling orthoses. Dave is a Rightfoot Director and works out of our Yamba and Grafton clinics
Matt Joined Rightfoot Podiatry in 2012 after completing his Bachelor of Podiatry Degree at the University of Newcastle. Growing up in Inverell playing a variety of sports has led to an interest in lower limb biomechanics and its effects on the musculoskeletal system. Matt is a Rightfoot Director and works out of our Lismore clinic
